We are excited to offer SON, our latest acquisition from the October Tattersalls Horses In Training Sale. Our yard has enjoyed a long history of success with HIT purchases—stars like Copper Knight, Hyperfocus, Boardman, and most recently Per Contra all came from similar sales. Son has a very similar profile to many of the horses we have bought in the past.

Son was well thought of as a 2YO. After a narrow debut defeat on soft ground at Ascot, he stamped his authority at Newbury, winning by over two lengths. His quality was clear as he spent the rest of his juvenile season in Pattern company, finishing 5th in three separate Group 2s and earning a peak rating of 106.

He began his 3YO campaign with a strong 4th in the Group 3 Greenham Stakes before contesting the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot. While his recent form has dipped, his "back class" confirms he is a well-above-average individual.

Son has dropped to a very workable mark now. We believe he will benefit from the change of scenery and routine. He has the potential to be a very good Saturday handicapper that we would be looking to aim at the big meeting this coming season.
