BRIGHTON BOY (3YO)

We are delighted to have purchased a very good horse called BRIGHTON BOY at the recent TATTERSALLS HORSES IN TRAINING SALES, from Andrew Balding’s stable. We were delighted to get him for only 20,000gns.

BRIGHTON BOY has only run 13 times, won 3 races, and has been 2^nd twice.  He won twice as a 2yo. A 6f Novice at Chester and a 6f Nursery at York. He then finished 2^nd in the valuable £150,000 Tattersalls Auction Stakes at Newmarket, over 6f.  He finished his 2yo career on a high handicap mark of OR88. As a 3yo he won at Chester, beating a very good horse called EMPIRESTATEOFMIND and showing a great attitude to win.

He is currently rated OR85 and should run in some very good races over 6f and 7f.  His form suggests that he would benefit from a bit of cut in the ground.
