INVINCIBLE ARMY ex BEAR CHEEK Filly

We are delighted to have purchased a very racy looking INVINCIBLE ARMY filly at the recent TATTERSALLS YEARLING SALES. We had compiled a short list of horses that we would have been happy to see carry the red and yellow colours next year.  After being knocked back in the sales ring a few times, everything aligned with this smashing Invincible Army filly, which we were delighted to secure for 16,000gns.

Being by the same sire as our 4-time winner VINCE L’AMOUR, and our 3-time winning 2yo GO VINCE GO, this filly was always high on our short list. Tim was very keen to purchase her and was delighted to secure her for the syndicate.  She certainly looks like an exciting sprinter to get involved in.

This filly certainly doesn’t lack anything when it comes to her pedigree page. She is out of a GROUP 3 winning KODIAC mare, BEAR CHEEK.  BEAR CHEEK was a very fast filly who won the GROUP 3 Curragh Stakes over 5f as a 2yo and was rated as high as OR105.  She was also 4^th in the GROUP 2 Flying Childers and 5^th in the GROUP 1 Cheverley Park Stakes.  Not only was BEAR CHEEK a very good filly, but she has also become a very good broodmare.  She has produced 4 winners to date including MY MATE ALFIE, who won the GROUP 3 Renaissance Stakes over 6f, as a 3yo, and is currently rated OR112.
