CATURRA - KAIULANI

We have for sale a strong-looking colt from the first crop of the stallion Caturra. This colt comes from a fantastic family with winners throughout his pedigree. He was consigned by Bearstone Stud, a source from which we have had great success in the past. Bearstone Stud bred our Listed-winning two-year-old, Argentine Tango, and the multiple two-year-old winner Daydreama, and this colt came to us highly recommended. This is Caturra's first crop of yearlings, and they impressed us at the sales. They looked like tough, racy types that would stand up well to racing as two-year-olds. This is no surprise, as that's exactly how Caturra was. He was a very busy two-year-old, winning the Flying Childers at Doncaster in a very quick time after already competing at Royal Ascot, Glorious Goodwood, and the Ebor Festival. 

 The dam of this colt, Kaiulani, was very precocious herself. She won on her debut before heading to Royal Ascot. Since retiring, she has produced a number of winners, the most recent of which won on their debut in August 2025. She is by the brilliant broodmare sire Danehill Dancer, which is always a positive. This colt is entered in the Harry's Half Million race at next year's York Ebor meeting and looks exactly like the type of horse to do well. He is for sale in part or in whole to stay in our yard.
