CATURRA - FAIRY STORIES

We have for sale a strong, racy colt by Caturra, the son of Mehmas. This is Caturra's first crop of yearlings to go to the sales, and we were very impressed. This particular colt has a lot to like about him, especially his fabulous walk. He is out of the mare Fairy Stories, a multiple winner over sprint distances who reached a rating in the 80s at her peak. She is by Mayson, who is proving to be a useful broodmare sire, with horses like Significantly and Coppull highlighting his credentials. Caturra is standing at Overbury Stud and is one of many exciting first-season sires. He was from the first crop of Mehmas and, like his sire, was very precocious. He finished the year by winning the Flying Childers at Doncaster. 

 This colt is entered in the Harry's Half Million race at next year's York Ebor meeting and looks like just the type to compete. He is for sale in part or in whole to stay in our yard. Please get in touch for any further details.
