DARK ANGEL ex GYPSY SPIRIT

After the fireworks at Tattersalls Book 1 last week we headed to Book 2 with a short list of horses for our Reality Partners. We were delighted to purchase a stunning Dark Angel filly from Grangemore Studs Consignment. This filly has everything you expect to find when you turn up to the Tattersalls Book 2 sale, a fabulous pedigree and a wonderful physique to match.

Dark Angel has been one of the great breeding success stories, a top horse on racecourse and a sire of many Group winners. You will see him represented by his offspring in most of the major Group 1 sprints around Europe. Harry Angel, Mecca’s Angel, Charyn, Battaash and of course Tim’s very own Art Power are just some of the Group 1 winners he has produced.

This filly is the first foal from the high-class mare Gypsy Spirit. She was a black-type filly herself placing in no less than eight listed races before being sold to the USA to continue her career. She ended her career as one of Gregorian’s top rated progeny and is an exciting broodmare prospect.

This filly moves extremely well gliding across the ground as she walks. It’s a pleasure to be able to syndicate a filly of this quality and we are excited to see what the future holds for her.
