We are delighted to get the chance to syndicate this lovely National Hunt prospect by Postponed. This gelding is an unraced 3yo bred by Tim at Easthorpe Hall Stud. The dam Maven was in training with Tim and won plenty of races including handicaps at York, Newbury, Ayr and Ripon. She was extremely consistent, finishing in the places in 26 of her 56 starts and achieving a handicap mark in the high 80s. As a broodmare, she has bred winners over staying trips; Hellenista for Tim and Fast Deal a winner over fences for Michael Chapman.  The sire Postponed was one of the best horses of his generation and enjoyed an exceptional season in 2016, winning three Group 1s in the UK and abroad.  Some of his progenies are beginning their jumping careers and the early signs are good. With only a handful of runners so far, three have already broken the 120 handicap mark.  With Postponed’s oldest progeny being only 5 years of age, the best is very much yet to come.  A national hunt campaign has always been the plan for this horse from the day Tim sent Maven to Postponed. He’s a lovely big scopey sort, who looks perfect for tackling obstacles. We are hoping for him to make his debut in a bumper in early November.
