Following the Goffs Premier Yearling Sale we have for sale a son of the brand new stallion Starman. Every year at the sales a new crop of stallions is unleashed on the market and Starman was one we were particularly interested from this years cohort. Supported by the very successful Tally Ho stud he is sure to be a success in the years ahead. Especially if his exploit on the racecourse are anything to go by, the previous Champion Sprinter won the Group 1 July cup and finished placed in the Haydock Sprint Cup and Prix Maurice de Gheest.

Rosie Royce, the dam, is by the brilliant broodmare sire Acclamation and placed herself a number of times over sprint trips. She is 2 winners from 2 runners since retiring to the breeding shed. Zivaniya added to her record with a win just before the sale.

This strong colt has a lot going for him, he has good size and scope as well as a lovely motion when he walks. It’s hard to know which of the first season sires will hit the ground running but from what we have seen at the sales Starman has every chance.
