Hamish McGonagall is by the sire Namid out of a Danehill mare (Anatase). He has been very consistent over five and six furlongs, including wins at Musselburgh, Chester and York. Hamish McGonagall has proven he is a top class horse by winning three big sprint handicaps in 2010, the Scottish Sprint Cup at Musselburgh, the Sportingbet Sprint at York and the Symphony Group Sprint at the Ebor meeting at York. He will now make the step up to Group company which is fantastic for his devoted owners.
