Lease Lend, a winner at Catterick ten days ago, recorded a second success when returning on the 15th February.

Lease Lend produced another great display to win the Weatherbys Bloodstock Insurance Handicap Chase over 2 mile 3 furlongs. The 7-y-o Zilzal gelding, raised 6lb for his previous success, produced another big weight-carrying performance when defying a burden of 11st 10lb to win.

Richard McGrath gave Lease Lend another patient ride. The gelding made steady headway from the 10th and stayed on well in the closing stages to beat Storymaker by four lengths.
