Charlie Tipple has been schooling well at home and proved he stays beyond two miles when winning his first start over hurdles at Market Rasen on the 15th November.

Ridden by Dougie Costello, the 5-y-o Diktat gelding tracked the leader before taking up the running three out. He was driven clear in the closing stages to beat Red Onion by six lengths.

The win follows Zitenka’s victory in the totesport.com Chase at Wetherby on the 14th November. Zitenka travelled sweetly throughout the three mile, one furlong contest and when asked for his effort four out, by Richard McGrath, he pulled clear of his rivals.

The yard does not have many jumpers but they are all running really well at present.
