KODIAC ex MAROUBRA

We have a Kodiac colt for sale out of the Listed winning mare Maroubra. Kodiac needs no introduction, being the sire of many top-class sprinters like Campanelle, Hello Youmzain, Ubettabelieveit, and Tiggy Wiggy. Despite his advanced age of 22, Kodiac proved once again in 2023 that he is a prodigious source of precocious speed, with Relief Rally emerging as one of the best two-year-olds of her generation.

Maroubra is a French-bred filly who raced in her home country for the first two years of her life before being sold on to race in America. She demonstrated her precocious talent by winning on her second-ever start as a two-year-old, and then continued her development to win a Listed race at Paris Longchamp as a three-year-old. She has already produced one foal, a filly by Kingman, currently in training with Robert Eddery. The filly has made a promising start to her racing career, finishing second on her latest start at Chelmsford.

This colt possesses all the characteristics you would expect from one of Kodiac's offspring. He is compact and muscular, like many successful sprinters, and appears to have exceptional sharpness. We have begun the breaking-in process with him, and he has taken well to both the saddle and rider, showing a straightforward nature. He is for sale as a whole or in part, to stay in the yard.
