The Knot Is Tied battled on gamely to win at Haydock

THE KNOT IS TIED tracked the leader for much of the trip before wearing him down in the closing stages under Nathan Evans. He has had a great season with four wins and has proved his versatility with regards to ground conditions.  He is a progressive three-year-old who will be better still next year.
